Glenn Participates in Medical Errors Study

Attorney Glenn has been selected to participate in a study led by Atul Gawande, M.D., of Harvard School of Public Health. Approximately 100 experts in the field of risk management, patient safety and health care were chosen. The study will report on litigation of physician disclosure practices.

Dr Gawande is Assitant Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management. His research is focused on the intersection of surgery and public health. He is the author of Complications, a note-worthy book analyzing risk factors in surgery and medical error. Dr. Gawande is writes a regular column for the New England Journal of Medicine, "Notes of a Surgeon". He has also been a staff writer on health issues for the New Yorker magazine since 1998. Gawande is currently working with Mr. Glenn's input on a New Yorker article on medical malpractice and litigation. He is a graduate of Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard Medical School, Oxford, and Stanford University.
